This evening, we hosted a group from the IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, for a tour. The group of engineers is comprised of students and professionals, with a goal of gaining knowledge about different technological fields. Northwest Tool utilizes a variety of machinery which is run using computer programming. Some of the machines we are capable of building also require an electronic aspect, so we are familiar with the use of electronic engineering in manufacturing. We always enjoy the opportunity to bring groups of professionals in and educate about the world of machining.
Thanks to those who came out to see what Northwest Tool is all about. Hopefully, everyone left knowing more about the world of precision machining.
