On October 5th, 2018, Northwest Tool & Manufacturing will be hosting it’s 2nd Annual Manufacturing Day Open House. Manufacturing Day began in 2012 to address common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show their community what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t. Through efforts like these, manufacturers will begin to address the skilled labor shortage we face, connect with the future workforce, work to change the public image of manufacturing, and ensure the prosperity of manufacturing in America.
Our open house runs from 5-7pm at our facility at 2200 N. 4th Ave. in Wausau. We will have tours beginning every couple minutes, metal stamping activities, and children’s games and activities. This event is a fun, educational opportunity for families and a chance to see what manufacturing careers have to offer.
There is no fee for the event and it is open to the public. No registration necessary. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear close-toed shoes. Click here to go to Event Page.
