In 2018, we began and expanded our ability to manufacture high run production parts. Our Production department started simply as running some extra parts to help out one of our long time customers. When that proved to be successful, we had the opportunity to take on these parts a bit more long term. This type of machining wasn’t what we were known for, but it was something we hoped we could excel at. These parts were initially run on our oldest lathe, a Mazak Quick Turn 18. this lathe was retired last year. We purchased our Haas ST-20 and our Yama Seiki GLS-200 lathes in 2018 to help our efficiency and productivity in this department. Both of these machines run parts quickly yet hold the level of quality we need.
