About Me
I came to Northwest Tool part time in 1998 while I was studying Mechanical Design at NTC. After graduation I was the Quality Inspector and handled our Engineering and Drafting. As our company has grown my roles have grown with it. I am currently Co-Owner and Vice President of Manufacturing. My primary focus is on the manufacturing process and setting pricing for our customers. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart Brianne for over 20 years and our son Zack is midway through college. I enjoy hiking, hunting, golf, or any other reason to be outside enjoying nature.
Do you have any unique talents or hobbies?
I like to carry on forgotten and fading types of woodworking. Using a chisel to make hand cut dovetails, making an ax handle from a log, or similar things are relaxing to me.
What is a fun fact about you that others might find surprising?
Most years I keep a couple beehives at the edge of our woods. I like to spend a few minutes at the end of the day watching them all fly back for the night.
What was your first job?
When I was 15 I spent a summer as a Christmas Tree Shaper. I used a long shearing knife to manipulate trees to a desired shape.
What kind of music do you like and who is your favorite band?
I have two very different types that I listen to, Death Metal and Bluegrass. My favorite bands are Gojira and The Travelin’ McCourys respectively.
