Calling all Machinists! We are hiring for a 1st Shift CNC Machinist. Our CNC Machinists are responsible for creating precision manufactured products efficiently to ensure the highest level of satisfaction for our customers. As a machinist, you are the core of this company; with the sole responsibility to make our customers quality parts. At Northwest Tool, our machinists don’t just run the machines; they study parts, program, setup, and operate. You would be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders, to make products that meet tolerance and quality standards. You will be expected to have the ability to measure, examine and test completed products to check for defects and ensure conformance using precision instruments. Another aspect of the position is studying sample parts, blueprints, and drawings to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to create a product.
To be eligible to be one of our machinists, you must have at least 1 year of experience in machining, very strong communications skills, knowledge of CNC set up and programming, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and knowledge of metal properties, mathematics, layout, and machining procedures.
This position is full time, with hours Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Overtime hours will vary. Pay is hourly, based on experience.
